• 4 years ago I started the NYLON magazine blog as Spacey Tracy, and it was then when I first heard of The Kooks.  ”She Moves in Her Own Way” immediately became my summer anthem, and when I was home in Florida that July, I would force my to Dad sit there and listen to me learn it on the guitar.  Since then without fail, every time I am in FL, while my Dad grills outside and drinks his Dewars & water, he makes me go on youtube for him to put on the T in the Park video of them playing it.  ***Note*** He doesn’t know how to turn on a computer… The song stays on repeat so he can sing and dance to it until he goes to bed about 4 hours later.

  So when The Postelles invited me to their show at Webster Hall on Thursday night when they were opening up for The Kooks, I made sure I caught some of this song for him…Without a doubt, I will be listening to this a lot this upcoming week during the Thanksgiving holiday…  and I’m totally ok with it becuz this song rox :P
